What does it take to feel energized and really, truly feel good?  I say it takes determination, commitment, and a strong desire. This spring, dust off the cobwebs of inactivity, take out the garbage that has been accumulating for the last 6 months in your mind, and set yourself up some achievable goals.

Every minute is always a good time to start….. So, begin NOW!

Many of you may be able to identify with the yo-yo of getting all revved up and excited about making change and improving your life this time of year.  You make lists, create a plan, and then you say you are going to start tomorrow.  But, tomorrow comes, and you are no closer to starting than you were last year!

It seems ‘belief and desire’ must match for any change or shift can occur.  Ask yourself the following questions.

Do I believe in myself?

How much gratitude do I have for today and all that is in my life?

Do I have the courage to take the necessary steps to achieve my goals?

Do I believe I can be successful?

How strong is my desire to become energized and really feel good?

If there is any hesitation, then your belief and desire do not match.  Look within to your true self, the part of you that knows who you are and your deepest desires.  When you can tap into this place, without the outer worlds covering, you may be amazed at what you find.

We all have a part of us that is hidden, suppressed, withdrawn, or afraid to be expressed.  If you are feeling tired, exhausted, or just plain want a change; take a deep breath, and let it all out……

One more time, take a deep breath, and let it all out….

Practice this breathing daily, as often as you like. It will help relieve stress and anxiety, allowing for a more energized you to emerge.  Good, now your head should feel a little clearer, and you should feel a little lighter. This is a great start!

Before you can delve into any plans you set for yourself, first you may want to consider a little pampering. This may include things like the following.

A massage (a foot massage does wonders!)

A facial

A walk or two on the beach

A hike in the woods

A bike ride

A visit to the park

An exercise routine; start doing sit ups, pushups or cardio exercises

A place outside to read a good book

A diet of fresh fruits and vegetables in season

A staycation you’ve wanted to take to relax

A list of positive affirmations you read every morning

Whatever rejuvenates you and puts a smile on your face…..

You will be amazed once you start giving yourself attention at how much better you will begin to feel.  People will see you glowing, and your attitude will perk up as well.

As you connect more with your inner most self and bring it to the surface, amazing things start to happen.  Synchronicities occur that bring you more of what you are creating; you will sleep better; you have more energy.  And, you will have a new perspective on life and your experiences.

You may find yourself at a crossroad of where you were and where you want to be.  Somewhere inside you is a knowing that things can be better.  Life is meant to be lived….I mean really lived, with excitement, joy, and happiness.

When was the last time you had a true belly laugh?  Why has it been so long?  Think about some things you can do differently to bring in more laughter to your experiences.  Aim to have that moment when you laugh from the depths of your belly, and all the worries of life have faded away.

Then notice the shift in you. There may be lightheartedness; and the world does not seem so big, ugly and chaotic.  Awesome!

Renewed: revived, restored, to make something new, fresh, or strong again, and to begin something again especially with more force or enthusiasm.

1  What would you do if you felt renewed?

2  What would you let go of in order to feel renewed?

3  Find what inspires you and go for it!

Energized: empower, strengthen, motivate, and to give energy or excitement to something.

4  What empowers you?

5  When do you feel that inner strength?

6  Think about what motivates you and start living life.

Feeling Good: positive, valuable, and exceptional.

7  There is something good in every day!

8  Worry less; smile and laugh more!

9  Embrace change, and see your world open up!

10  Today, choose happiness!

11  Always believe something wonderful is about to happen!

12  Life always offers you another chance…. It is called Tomorrow!

13 Think of the “Impossible” as “I’m Possible.”

14  Don’t be pushed by your problems…. Be lead by your dreams……
